Bo thrives in accepting challenging and complex cases and has litigated a variety of matters ranging from modular/manufactured home construction defects, spray foam insulation defects, workplace injuries/fatalities, complex property disputes and school shootings. Obtained a defense verdict including punitive damages for builder and manufacturer of residential modular housing during a multi-week trial on counts of breach of contract, fraud and unfair & deceptive trade practices.

Obtained a multi-million dollar settlement on behalf of nationwide builder who purchased a defective product from a supplier.

Lead defense counsel in trial where plaintiff claimed an automobile accident proximately caused her need for bilateral knee replacement surgery and was seeking over $300,000 in damages. “No Negligence” defense verdict awarded.

Lead defense counsel for a world-wide manufacturer of spray foam insulation in an alleged formaldehyde and isocyanate exposure case.

Successfully obtained Summary Judgment for business owner on the basis that plaintiff had named the improper corporate entity. Plaintiff was seeking almost $500,000 in damages. Summary Judgment was upheld by North Carolina Court of Appeals.
