Justin L. Egan

Justin is an associate who practices in our civil litigation defense group in our Raleigh office and assists with cases in our Florida office. He represents businesses, professionals and insurance companies in disputes primarily focused on trucking, construction, and insurance defense. Having tried more than 50 jury cases to verdict, he is comfortable arguing cases before administrative tribunals and judges and juries and managing all stages of litigation from discovery, pre-trial hearings, motions, to trial and post-trial. He is equally adept in negotiating settlements.

Justin brings an impressive set of skills acquired from a decade of experience in military and government law allowing him to effectively navigate complexities of legal proceedings whether prosecuting or defending individuals or representing government and military entities. He has held positions of high-level responsibility requiring knowledge in specialized areas such as government ethics and information practices, regulatory law, intellectual property law, criminal defense, and national security. Additionally, Justin’s extraordinary discipline and work ethic contribute to strong advocacy for his clients.
