Attorney Tahlia Cypress participated in the North Carolina Trucking Association (NCTA) 3^rd Annual Women in Trucking Council Summit held in Wilmington February 21-23. The 3-day event provided industry updates, leadership development and topics that propel women professionals forward in their careers. Ragsdale Liggett was also a Silver Sponsor of the event. Founded in 1929, the NCTA’s mission is to protect the rights and roads for all carriers in the state and provides education, particularly in safety and has strong advocacy within regulatory agencies, the NC legislature as well as the American Trucking Association.  Tahlia serves on NCTA’s Women in Trucking Council.

Tahlia is a defense litigator whose civil practice is focused on insurance defense, trucking and transportation, construction, health care, and business litigation. In her trucking practice, she represents large and small motor carriers and trucking companies often on behalf of many national insurance companies or directly for the trucking company in claims in North Carolina.
