Stephen Gambill presented the CLE, “Mind Your Business: Entity Formation for General Practitioners” at the Wake County Bar Association’s Learn over Lunch session on May 4th. In his discussion of the fundamental principles of entity formation in North Carolina for lawyers outside of corporate practice, he covered choice of entity, Secretary of State filings and company management. As a commercial real estate and business lawyer, Stephen specifically cited issues that arise in corporate transactions based on the company’s entity as an example of how choice of business formation impacts obligations and liability.
Stephen is a transactional lawyer in Ragsdale Liggett’s Raleigh office. His practice is concentrated in commercial real estate and business transactions where he represents developers, business owners and individuals in a wide range of transactional matters.
