Partner Sorena Fallin has been appointed 2023-24 Vice Chair of the International Association of Defense Council’s (IADC) Transportation Committee of Programs and Projects where she will assist the committee in development and execution of programs and special projects. Sorena has been a member of the Transportation Committee since 2020 when she was juried into IADC’s select membership. The association is dedicated to the development of advanced legal skill and professionalism that benefits clients, the civil justice system and the legal profession as a whole.

Sorena heads the firm’s Jacksonville, Florida office and practices in Florida and Georgia. She has extensive litigation experience in transportation with emphasis in trucking, insurance and premises and product liability where she has defended clients in matters involving complex wrongful death, traumatic brain injury cases and serious bodily injury. Sorena assumes active roles in several legal organizations including Defense Research Institute (DRI) and Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA) among others and is often a featured speaker in the trucking industry.
