Paralegal Sarah White joined attorneys Madeline Pfefferle, Ellis & Winters and Stuart Stroud of Wallace Morris Barwick Landis & Stroud for a presentation on “Practice & Procedure in North Carolina” at the NCADA’s Fall Seminar on October 6th. They spoke about changes to the rules of practice in the Appellate, Business and Superior Courts, including new mediation rules, and provided tips for navigating North Carolina’s eCourts platform including eFile and Portal.
ACP and NCCP-certified civil litigation paralegal, Sarah’s work is focused on civil litigation and insurance defense, where she handles cases in North Carolina’s state and federal trial court divisions and appellate courts. She also manages the firm’s eDiscovery platform and continuing education courses with the North Carolina Department of Insurance. She is highly involved in her profession as an active participant in the NCADA Paralegal Division, and additionally chairs the North Carolina State Bar Paralegal Certification Committee and was previously an Item Writer. She serves as Secretary for the North Carolina Bar Association Paralegal Division, Long Range Planning Committee Chair, Bylaws Committee Co-chair, and previously held other executive positions. Sarah is a member of NALA as well.
