Sarah White was a speaker on the Paralegal Profession Panel hosted by the NCBA Paralegal Division on March 29th. Paralegal students from across the state attended the in-person and on-line Power Hour event: “Questioning the Paralegal Profession Panel Discussion for Students.” In an informal conversation, panel participants answered student’s questions relative to the paralegal profession in the legal industry and beyond. Some of the topics discussed included resume and LinkedIn tips, landing your first paralegal job, changes in the profession since COVID, and File & Serve. Additionally, members of the panel provided tips and advice regarding certification, networking, and key tips for a successful paralegal career.
Sarah White, ACP, NCCP – senior litigation paralegal, is an executive officer in the NCBA Paralegal Division. She has served as Chair of the North Carolina State Bar Paralegal Certification Committee since 2017 and is NCBA Paralegal Division Treasurer, Bylaws Committee Co-chair, Member of the Ethics and Nominations Committees and prior Council Member, and is a member of the NCADA Paralegal Division and NALA.
