Paralegal Sarah White was elected to the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) Certifying Board for a three-year term beginning July 1, 2024. The Board is responsible for the content, standards and administration of the Certified Paralegal (CP) Program and oversees the development and maintenance of the CP Examination as well as other duties. NALA has awarded the CP credential to more than 20,000 paralegals since its inception in 1975. In addition to certification, NALA provides exceptional continuing education and professional development designed specifically to advance paralegals and other legal professionals in their careers.
Sarah is a senior litigation paralegal who holds ACP and NCCP certifications. She was previously Chair of the NC State Bar Paralegal Certification Committee and currently serves as Secretary of the NC Bar Association Paralegal Division, as well as Co-chair of its Bylaws and Long-Range Planning Committees. In 2018, she was recipient of the NCBA’s Distinguished Paralegal Award. She also is a member the NC Association of Defense Attorneys’ Paralegal Division and has been a continuing education presenter.
