Partner Melissa Dewey Brumback was a presenter at the Central Carolina Surveyors Association’s Fall Seminar in Asheboro on December 2nd where she discussed current litigation and legislation affecting the surveying community.  7.5 PDH continuing education credits were associated with the seminar.  A construction law and defense attorney of over 23 years, Melissa represents designers and land surveyors in construction litigation and is a frequent speaker in the industry.  She is also a Panel Member of the American Arbitration Association in Construction Law.

Central Carolina Surveyors Association is a chapter of North Carolina Society of Surveyors, an affiliate of the National Society of Professional Surveyors, which is the only professional organization in North Carolina representing surveyors. The organization actively deals with issues affecting the surveyor on local, state, and national levels.
