Elizabeth Overmann participated in the North Carolina Trucking Association (NCTA)’s Women in Trucking Summit held in Asheville February 26-28, 2025. Elizabeth joined Lindsay Oleson and Jennifer Jerzak Blackman as a speaker on the panel, “From Crash to Closure.” She also hosted table talk on “Perceptions in the Workplace.”

The program facilitated leadership development, mentorship and best-in-class industry training among other areas promoting professional and personal growth. Since 1929, NCTA has provided educational and safety materials to the truck industry and protects its interests by working with state and federal regulatory agencies and enforcement agencies.

A strong advocate for the industry, Elizabeth has defended trucking companies and has been involved in the transportation industry for 20 years. She has been a devoted member of NCTA since 2013 serving in leadership roles and is currently Allied Chair on NCTA’s Executive Committee as well as the Women In Trucking Council Advisory Board and Summit Committee.
