Elizabeth Overmann was sworn in for the NC Trucking Association Executive Board for a second year of service as Allied Chair during its 96^th Annual Management Conference. The conference was held at Amelia Island Resort July 20-22 and Ragsdale Liggett was a Silver Sponsor of the event. The program facilitated mission planning, leadership development, educational topics and inspiring speakers. Since 1929, NCTA has provided educational and safety materials to the truck industry and protects its interests by working with state and federal regulatory agencies and enforcement agencies.

An enthusiastic advocate for the industry, Elizabeth has defended trucking companies and has been involved in the transportation industry for more than 20 years. She has been a devoted member of NCTA since 2013 serving in leadership roles and is currently Allied Chair on NCTA’s Executive Committee as well as the Women In Trucking Council Advisory Board and Summit Committee.
