November 18, 2021

Dottie Burch, partner and head of the Equine Law Practice Group, was a featured speaker for the North Carolina State University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.  Dottie’s lecture on Equine Law was presented to students enrolled in the course, ANS 110 Introduction to Equine Science.

Dr. Shannon Pratt-Phillips, Professor, Equine Nutrition & Physiology, Department of Animal Science, says “Dottie Burch brings a fresh view to the classroom concerning equine matters.  We are fortunate to learn about many different facets of equine law and also to draw from her enthusiastic and extensive knowledge of the horse industry generally.  She is an excellent role model to complement and exemplify the leadership skills we are teaching in this curriculum.”
