Dorothy Burch is a featured panelist in a discussion of Current Issues in Equine Law at the second Animal Law Symposium at the UNC School of Law

The annual event was hosted by the UNC Student Animal Legal Defense Fund (SALDF). The panel addressed equine liability issues, recent and pending legislation and case studies of relevant legal matters. Dottie is a regular guest lecturer on equine law and has served on several panels as an expert on North Carolina equine law. The fund is affiliated with the Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF), an organization of both attorney and non-attorney members that has been fighting for the interests of animals since 1979.
