Bob Ramseur joined two other real estate industry leaders, Cindy Chandler and Travis Everette, in a discussion on April 4th moderated by Brian Pate, a real estate broker and instructor. The panel discussed the parameters of the National Association of REALTORS® groundbreaking settlement proposal to resolve claims brought by home sellers in an antitrust case. The panelists also discussed the impact that the settlement may have on real estate professionals and consumers.
Bob is the Chair of the Real Estate Department at Ragsdale Liggett PLLC in Raleigh. With nearly thirty years of practice in real estate law focusing on residential and commercial transactions, construction and development, and real estate litigation, Bob is an active participant in the real estate industry and has held leadership positions in various organizations. He is the Past President of the Real Estate Lawyers Association of North Carolina, serves on the Section Council of the North Carolina Bar Association Real Property Section, and is the current Chair of the North Carolina Bar Association and NC REALTORS® Joint Forms Task Force. Bob was recently reappointed to serve on the North Carolina Real Estate Commission where he previously served as Vice-Chair and Chair. He is a Raleigh native and graduate of Wake Forest University and the Wake Forest University School of Law.
