Partner Amie C. Sivon was elected Secretary of the North Carolina Bar Association Appellate Section Council for the 2021-22 term, marking her fourth year in Council leadership.  A civil litigator, Amie primarily practices in complex business litigation.  Amie has extensive trial and appellate experience.  Many of the appeals Amie has been involved in have resulted in positive outcomes in both published and unpublished opinions.  She has been recognized in Business North Carolina magazine’s Legal Elite Appellate lawyers list since 2019.

The NCBA Appellate Practice Section brings bar association members who have a special interest in appellate practice together, providing networking and educational opportunities in the practice area and promotes excellence in North Carolina’s appellate courts.
