Amie C. Sivon was elected Treasurer of the North Carolina Bar Association Appellate Section Council for the 2022-23 term in her fifth year of Executive Council leadership.  The NCBA Appellate Practice Section brings together bar association members who have a special interest in appellate practice, providing networking and educational opportunities in the practice area while promoting excellence in North Carolina’s appellate courts and in federal appellate practice.

Amie is a seasoned civil litigator with extensive trial and appellate experience.  Many of the appeals Amie has been involved in have resulted in positive outcomes in both published and unpublished opinions.  She has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America and named Legal Elite by Business North Carolina magazine in its Appellate Law lists.
