An experienced litigator, Ed’s practice includes a broad range of complex civil cases including construction defect, premises liability, products liability, insurance defense, construction law, trucking and transportation, and professional malpractice. A trial lawyer, Ed worked for a number of years as a senior prosecutor in Virginia, handling trials involving murder, white collar crime, and other serious criminal offenses. His civil trial practice encompasses all phases of litigation, including trial and motion practice, discovery, appeals, arbitrations and mediations. Ed has tried cases to verdict in North Carolina and Virginia state courts.

Negotiated numerous settlements involving death and personal injury claims arising out of commercial vehicle accidents.
