Distressed Assets

The firm’s real estate and litigation practice groups have extensive experience in representing banks, other institutional lenders, borrowers and guarantors on all aspects of dealing with distressed real estate asset transactions. We handle commercial foreclosures for regional and national banks on commercial properties throughout North Carolina, and counsel clients on all other areas relating to distressed assets, including forbearance and workout agreements, receivorship litigation, successor developer and declarant obligations, and post-foreclosure disposition of distressed assets, and deficiency litigation.
