Our lawyers serve as counsel to national and local banks in connection with the real estate financing, development and acquisition of existing commercial projects throughout the United States. For over twenty years, we have represented one of the country’s largest national banks in connection with its medium to large real estate lending departments which spans a broad spectrum of product type including industrial, office, mixed use, retail and multi-family.

Our lawyers also assist our developer clients with the negotiation and documentation of hybrid financing for both development and acquisitions. This often includes secured and non-secured mezzanine loans with a variety of institutions, including pension funds and universities which have particular federal tax rules to adhere to in order to avoid the imposition of UBIT.
