Paralegal Sarah L. White Elected to the Board of the Junior League of Raleigh

Sarah White will serve as Funding and Development Vice President of the Board of Directors. Through her involvement with the League over the last nine years, she has given her time and talents to improving the lives of the youth of Wake County. Her leadership roles in the League’s function and major fundraising activities have progressively increased to the highest positions.
Sarah works with litigators in the firm concentrating in complex litigation and appellate practice. She received her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from East Carolina University in 1996 and her post-baccalaureate certificate in paralegal studies from Meredith College in 1996. She went on to earn the Certified Paralegal (CP/CLA) designation in 1999 and the Advanced Certified Paralegal (ACP/CLAS) designation in 2001, both from the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA). She also received the North Carolina Certified Paralegal (NCCP) designation from the North Carolina State Bar in 2005.
She has been an active member of the National Association of Legal Assistants since 1998 and the North Carolina Bar Association Paralegal Division since 2006; she was also a member of the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys Paralegal Division. She is currently working with the State Bar to create new questions for the North Carolina Certified Paralegal exam.
